| Wayne's Testimony I grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In a part of the city called West Philly. Throughout my childhood years I was a part of the Baptist church up to the age of 6 years old. At the age of 10 we moved to an area called Germantown on the east side of Philadelphia. My family then embraced the Muslim religion of Islam. I remained a Muslim until I turned 30 years old and then I was on a search for a closer relationship with God. Although while still a Muslim my soul was not satisfied until I found Jesus Christ again through my wife. Today I am a born again Christian that embraces the teachings of Jesus Christ as He is represented in the Holy Scriptures. I strongly believe that as a Christian and follower of Jesus Christ He left us His instruction book on how to follow His example in our own lives, and that instruction book is called the Holy Bible of which we are to use in it's fullness, the Old Testament as well as the New Testament. I am currently living in South Texas. |

| Bear Your Cross Ministries is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ and His ministry as represented in the Holy Scriptures. This internet ministry was started in January of 2006 by the Holy Spirit through Wayne and Ann Grant as an e-mail ministry. First we started with daily devotion's that were sent to 30 people in various parts of the country and that number has grown steadily to over 1100 going out to people all over the world. With the growth of this e-mail ministry it became necessary to create a website where the same Biblical information and study lessons could be acquired in one place. In the beginning of 2010 we stopped the devotional part of our ministry by email and now send devotions by text messaging, we have also started a prayer ministry online and we receive at least 200 prayer requests a week and we also refer souls to this website for their spiritual nourishment although our mission on the ground here in Kingsville, Texas still goes on. As you browse through this site we pray that the Holy Spirit will be your guide to all truth. We pray that the Holy Spirit will bring about a true understanding of the scriptures by presenting them in a way that fosters a deeper understanding through this website of the Cross. |
